Georgia Snow Day

 A snow day in Georgia is RARE, so when we get one we have to make the most of it! 

It has been fun having Kane home from work today...an unexpected treat! He and Mara Kate had lots of fun playing out in the snow, building an awesome snow man and just enjoying the 5+ inches of snow on the ground.

Evelyn got to experience snow for the first time, although she was only out it in for about 5 minutes.

 Hershey kiss eyes, carrot nose, leaf for a mouth, branches for hair and arms as well as chocolate animal crackers for buttons...not too shabby!

 Warmed up with some "snowman soup" (i.e. hot chocolate) after coming back inside!

 Playing with some Lego sets while drinking some hot chocolate.

 Delicious!

And we will be finishing off the day with a big pot of Brunswick Stew----YUMMY!!!
