Mara Kate asked me to make 2 rugs for her doll houses so while I was already sewing for my hallway project I whipped up a couple of felt rugs for her. It took less than five minutes to make both and just a tiny bit of effort to make her happy. She is thrilled with the new accessories for her doll houses and I hope I always remember to simply take the time to be the kind of mom willing to do those little things to make my kiddos happy---just because!
