Dad, I guess that's sort of true although that wasn't the plan when I told them to layer it a bit in the back. I just thought it would be cute!
One day when Robin (whose hair was always tangled when she woke up)was about 2 1/2 she said, hands on hips, "I do it myself!" I handed her the comb and said, "As long as your hair looks neat, ok. If it starts lookin' scraggly, let's get it cut really short." It's been tangle-and tear-free ever since.
