Day Spent Downtown

We are really enjoying Kane's Christmas break from Shorter and trying to make the most out of each day. Yesterday we decided we'd hit downtown Rome and shop/browse through the stores that line Broad St, which is basically the main drag in downtown. There are lots of neat little shops and restaurants and we just wanted to check everything out all at once! Thankfully we picked one of the warmer days this week and we had a great time. We started out having lunch at the Harvest Moon Cafe, which was very busy and crowded, but also very yummy. I think it is definitely a hot lunch spot in Rome and I'd love to go back sometime!

It was nice to walk the sidewalks and just see what there was to be seen. We did mostly browsing, but did find a few places I'll go back to. It was just a really nice way to spend the afternoon as a family! We've decided we really like our small little town!
