As you can see in the pictures from the last post, there is no longer a baby bed in Mara Kate's room. For over a month now she has been sleeping in a regular twin bed (with a railing on the edge) and has done very well! I packed up her baby bed this week so I guess the transition is now complete. The next step will be to remove the railing, but we aren't in too big of a hurry to do that.
Up until this point she has never tried to climb down if she wakes up in the night or after nap time and even though she still sleeps in various positions overall she stays in the middle and feels so good and proud of herself to know she is sleeping in her "big girl bed".

She is really becoming a big girl. I also saw the pics of her new organizing shelf and overalls. Definitely a little girl now and not a baby anymore!
Everything looks great! I love the shelf :) She does look like such a big girl in her bed! We are having a tough transition getting G back into his bed all night after his Christmas break where he stayed with us since his room was necessarily occupied!
