Hunting for Eggs

Kane's sister Elizabeth has been here the past couple days. She and her husband live in Nashville and she is a teacher, but had this week off for Spring Break! Because she loves her niece SOOO much (and us) she decided to take a bit of her spring break to come to Atlanta and visit us for a few days. Although Kane has been working during the day we have all hung out together in the evenings and Eliz, Mara Kate and I have had fun together during the day. Yesterday we went to IKEA (of course) and then met Kane for lunch at Willy's. Today we ran a few errands this morning and Elizabeth picked up a cute little easter bucket and some plastic colored eggs for Mara Kate. This afternoon we "hid" the eggs several times around the apartment to "teach" Mara Kate how to look for them and collect them in her basket. She caught on very quickly and kept saying "more", "more" after all of them were found, so we played the game several times in a row. SO fun though! :) It was fun watching her discover how to "look" for something that is hidden. She had fun looking, we had fun helping her and just watching her face light up when she "spotted" an egg!

Tonight Elizabeth is cooking us an authentic Korean meal (Bulgogi--grilled beef with veggies and rice). We are looking forward to a yummy different meal and we have really enjoyed our time with "BeBe", but we hated it that Choonghwan couldn't join her on this trip.

Because of Mara Kate's Aunt BeBe she is ALL ready for Easter and a couple Easter egg hunts to come! :)

And...some pictures of our fun...

I'm sure you had a lot of fun watching her do another "first". After her first steps, though, we expected another video. Ha Ha :-)

Aww, so cute...It looks like she picked up on the whole concept pretty well. I could use a comfy shirt like Mara Kate's myself right about now!! Love y'all!
