Tennessee Trip

Mara Kate and I took a little trip last week---once again to give Kane some uninterrupted focused work time as he continues preparing for his big presentation next week. On Monday we headed north and stopped in Chattanooga to visit with my friend Sarah and her precious little girls. We met at the mall, ate at the food court, juggled little ones, walked, talked and visited. It was a nice break from the car and it was a good visit. After lunch we headed north again, to Knoxville. We were in Knoxville for a few days visiting Kane's family. His sister Elizabeth also drove in for a couple days so we had some fun time with her as well.

We did some shopping, boating, movie watching and relaxing while I was there. I had a mini-birthday party Thursday morning with Kane's mom and sister and then went out for a yummy birthday lunch before heading back home to Atlanta.

Here are a few pics from our time in Tennessee.

Dear Jana,
The pictures are great! I love seeing Mara Kate in new pictures. She is growing so fast, and she still bears a strong resemblance to her DAddy! I am posting this after Kane's defense. Kane, way to go! We are so proud of you. Congratulations. Love, Mom Burton
