Excitedness

Excitedness--is that a word? If it isn't a word, it is surely an emotion--because that is how I am feeling right now.

As I am typing my mom, my big sister and her 3 children, my precious nieces and nephew are in the car headed for ATLANTA! They should arrive sometime this afternoon and stay until Sunday morning. Not only am I excited about their visit and our planned outings to IKEA (of course) and the Farmer's Market...I am also excited about them leaving on Sunday---why?! Well, it's because Mara Kate and I are planning to go home with them! We are headed back to Bristol--yippee, where we'll get to spend a few more days with them, my other sister, my dad and friends. I have 1 special friend who lives in Bristol and another who lives in Michigan (who I rarely get to see) who just happens to be planning a trip to Bristol next week as well--to visit her family. So, we'll all get to hang out and play with one another's babies (or babies on the way, Jorge). :) I am truly looking forward to this trip, even though the plans were made just last night. It will be fun to have some relaxing time in Bristol (our last trip was a bit crazy with a less than a month old baby and Christmas to celebrate) to see family and friends, hopefully eat at La Caretta and drink some good 'ol Pals Peach Tea, as well as a trip to Java J's for a cup of joe and some down time as well. Ah--good ol Bristol. My home away from home.

Much thankfulness goes to my dear sweet husband who has agreed to give me and his sweet daughter up for a few days and share us with others we love. :) I hope everyone else has a great weekend as well!

Grant was just asking last night when he'd get to see Mara Kate again...I'm glad I had a good answer for him ;-)
