This past weekend was wonderful. We had a lot of family here and it was a time of celebration. Mara Kate was baptized Sunday morning at church and she wore a beautiful christening gown which was sewn by my mother-in law. Mara Kate was the first to wear this gown, but it will hopefully be worn by other Barker grandbabies in the future.
My Mom, Dad, sister and nephew were able to be here for the entire weekend and then we were joined with several members of Kane's family on Sunday. We all attended worship and then came back to our apartment to enjoy fellowship and a meal together.

Yes, it was a really wonderful weekend. We all had a fantastic time. It was great to see Mara kate again. She is growing so fast!

I feel so bad that we missed you guys after the service due to the meeting Pastor Gardner held. Therefore I will say what I was going to say Sunday...it was so exciting to see Mara Kate baptized, especially knowing that you guys will take your responsibilities very seriously as godly parents, and she looked perfect in the dress!:)
I am so glad I was able to come and be a part of the weekend. Mara Kate looked perfect for her big day. Thanks for hosting it all and having us there for the weekend. Love you guys.
